TVS Raider 125 brings high-tech connectivity to Indian riders.

TVS Motor Company has officially expanded its commuter lineup by introducing the 2026 TVS Raider 125, featuring a striking Nitro Green color scheme and enhanced technology. This latest iteration specifically targets the premium end of the 125cc segment, with the top-tier TFT DD variant priced at Rs 98,550 (ex-showroom). By integrating a full-color TFT console and dual disc brakes, the manufacturer aims to consolidate its 10 percent share in the brand's total monthly sales volume.

Vibrant Aesthetics and Visual Upgrades

Nitro Green makes its debut as a refreshing addition to the palette, applied across the fuel tank, front cowl, and even the front alloy wheel. Designers paired this bold hue with grey graphics to amplify the machine's aggressive, animalistic stance. This move positions the Raider as a direct competitor to the Honda CB125 Hornet and Hero Xtreme 125R, which have also adopted vibrant, youth-centric color profiles.

Advanced Cockpit and Connectivity

Riders now interact with a futuristic 5-inch TFT display that offers a high-contrast orange and black interface for better daylight visibility. Utilizing the SmartXonnect system, the motorcycle provides access to over 99 connected features, including turn-by-turn navigation, weather updates, and call management. Historically, the 125cc category in India was dominated by basic utility bikes; however, the Raider's evolution reflects a significant shift toward "premiumisation" in the entry-level market.

Performance and Safety Specifications

Mechanical hardware remains consistent, utilizing the reliable 124.8cc air and oil-cooled engine. It produces 11.38 PS of power and 11.2 Nm of peak torque through a 5-speed gearbox. For safety, the top-spec model includes Roto Petal dual disc brakes and single-channel ABS, ensuring stable stopping power on diverse road surfaces. Additionally, Glide Through Traffic (GTT) technology assists in effortless low-speed crawling, making it ideal for congested urban environments like those found across Odisha’s growing cities.
