Washington DC, Feb 21: US President Donald Trump took a playful approach to congratulate Indian-origin Kash Patel after his confirmation as the new Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino shared the news with a Bollywood twist on Friday, posting a dance clip featuring the song Malhari from the movie Bajirao Mastani, starring Ranveer Singh. In the edited video, Patel's face was inserted in place of Singh's.
"Congratulations to the new Director of the FBI, @Kash_Patel," Scavino wrote on X, sharing the playful clip. Patel won the Senate vote for the position with a narrow 51-49 margin, though all Senate Democrats opposed his confirmation.
