Bhubaneswar, June 14: To facilitate essential safety-related modernisation works at Puri Railway Station, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced temporary regulation of certain train services between 16th June and 20th June 2026.
The temporary changes have been planned to ensure smooth execution of critical infrastructure upgradation works aimed at enhancing operational safety, improving passenger amenities and increasing overall efficiency at Puri Railway Station.
As part of the arrangements, Train No. 68450 Daspalla–Puri MEMU, Train No. 18401 Bangriposi–Puri Express and Train No. 18417 Puri–Gunupur Express will be short-terminated at Khurda Road from 16th June to 19th June 2026.
Similarly, Train No. 68449 Puri–Daspalla MEMU, Train No. 18402 Puri–Bangriposi Express and Train No. 18418 Gunupur–Puri Express will originate from Khurda Road instead of Puri during the same period.
In addition, Train No. 68404 Puri–Khurda Road MEMU will remain cancelled from 16th June to 19th June 2026, while Train No. 68403 Khurda Road–Puri MEMU will remain cancelled from 17th June to 20th June 2026.
