Kendrapara, Jan 20: A disturbing social media post threatening to bomb the 400-year-old Baldev Jew Temple at Ichhapur in Kendrapara has caused widespread panic and outrage among devotees. The post, made by an individual using a fake name, has led to a rapid response from law enforcement agencies.

In light of the threat, members of the Baldev Jena group submitted a memorandum to the Kendrapara Superintendent of Police, urging immediate action against the individual behind the threat.

Pupun Kumar Swain, president of the group, expressed his concerns, stating, “Baldev Jew Temple is a 400-year-old sacred site that attracts devotees from across the country. Unfortunately, its security has been neglected, and such threats further emphasize the need for better protection.”

Authorities are investigating the matter, and law enforcement has assured swift action to ensure the safety and security of the revered temple.
