Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar and Bargarh will face Nabarangpur and Jajpur respectively in the semifinals of the CM Trophy U-15 Inter-districts Tournament in two different venues on Thursday.
In the last quarter-final match of the Bhubaneswar Zone, Bhubaneswar FC thrashed Cuttack FC with a convincing scoreline of 9-1. Winning team forward Sreejal Kisku scored a hattrick and was adjudged as the Player of the Match.
Bhubaneswar FC being the Champions of the Bhubaneswar Zone received a prize money of Rs. 50,000/- and Cuttack FC received Rs. 25,000/- for being the Runner-up of the Bhubaneswar Zone.
The winners will face Nabarangpur in the semifinal at Capital Football Arena here on Thursday. Similarly, another semifinal will take place at OSAP Mini Stadium, Jharsuguda on the same day.
Biswaranjan Gharai, Joint Secretary, FAO gave away the prizes in presence of Sourya Ranjan Parija, Secretary, Bhubaneswar Athletic Association (BAA) and Dilip Kumar Das, Football Secretary, BAA.
