Angul, Sept 29: An RPF Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) displayed remarkable courage by saving a woman who lost her balance while attempting to board a moving train at Talcher Railway Station on Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 6:30 am on Platform No. 2 when the Durg–Puri Express was departing the station. The woman was trying to board the moving train when she suddenly lost her balance and began to fall.
Seeing the woman in danger, RPF ASI Rakesh Amant, who was nearby, immediately rushed towards her and pushed her safely inside the train, preventing a potentially fatal accident.
The entire incident was captured on camera, and footage showing the ASI's quick response has gone viral on social media. Rakesh Amant is being widely praised for his presence of mind and bravery in saving the woman's life.
