Bhubaneswar, May 4: With a mission for robust census, the Odisha government on Sunday sets June 30 as the deadline for finalizing the administrative boundary lines of the revenue divisions.
The Revenue and Disaster Management Department issued notifications in this regard today with directions to the district admins.
As per the official notification, the reorganisation will cover all levels of administrative units — including districts, sub-divisions, tehsils, revenue villages, and urban local bodies (ULBs).
No further alterations to administrative boundaries will be permitted until the completion of the census exercise, the notification added.
