New Delhi, May 5: In a phone conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed strong solidarity with India in its battle against terrorism.
He firmly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, calling it "barbaric," and stressed that those responsible must be held accountable.
According to a statement from the Russian Embassy, both leaders underscored the importance of a relentless and uncompromising fight against terrorism in all its forms.
President Putin also accepted Prime Minister Modi’s invitation to attend the annual India-Russia summit scheduled to be held in India later this year.
