Cuttack, April 2: The highly anticipated book ‘Manara Spandan’ by renowned neurosurgeon and former Vice-Chancellor of SOA University, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mahapatra, was launched on April 3. The book was unveiled by the founder and President of SOA University, Prof. Dr. Manojranjan Nayak, during a special event.

‘Manara Spandan’ delves into themes of spiritual health and traditional Odia festivals and rituals, featuring a collection of essays that highlight the significance of these cultural practices. Dr. Mahapatra stressed the importance of positive thinking and spiritual well-being, stating, "Without mental rhythm, positive thoughts cannot emerge. Understanding the purpose of life is essential for good health."

Dr. Mahapatra, who begins his day with the early morning i.e.’Brahma Muhurta’, explained its significance for maintaining both physical and mental health. "I wake up early every day during ‘Brahma Muhurta’, and in the same spirit, I have written over 100 essays, from which a few are featured in this book," he shared.

The book launch ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Professor Damodar Acharya, Chairman of the Advisory Board at SOA University, and Professor P.K. Nanda, Vice-Chancellor of SOA University. Pakhighara Prakashani published Manara Spandan.

The book aims to inspire readers to explore the connection between spiritual and physical health, encouraging a balanced life between mind, body, and soul.
