Kendrapara, Aug 23: Police in Kendrapara have arrested a 29-year-old private tutor for allegedly sexually harassing and blackmailing a 17-year-old girl.
The accused, identified as Rajesh Behera from the Marshaghai area, was the girl's tutor when she was in class 10.
According to police, Behera had taken pictures and videos of the minor and later morphed them with obscene content. He then proposed to marry the girl, but after she rejected him, he allegedly threatened to upload the doctored pictures and videos on social media.
The arrest was made after the victim filed a complaint.
