Bhubaneswar, Jul 1: President Droupadi Murmu will be on a two-day visit to Odisha on July 14 during which she will participate in multiple high-profile events in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
As per official reports, the President will arrive in the state capital, Bhubaneswar, on July 14. On the same day, she will grace the convocation ceremony of AIIMS Bhubaneswar as the chief guest. The prestigious event will witness top medical graduates from across the country receiving their degrees in the presence of the nation’s highest constitutional authority.
On July 15, President Murmu will visit Cuttack to attend the convocation of Ravenshaw University, one of Odisha’s oldest and most esteemed academic institutions. Her presence at the ceremony highlights the continued focus on strengthening the state’s higher education sector.
In a significant initiative for women’s education, President Murmu will also lay the foundation stone for the upcoming Ravenshaw Girls’ High School. This move is seen as a major step towards enhancing educational opportunities and infrastructure for girls in the region.
