Police Complaint lodged against Virat Kholi’s Pub & Restaurant One8 Commune for flouting Smoking Zone rules

Bangalore, June 2: A Police Complaint has been lodged against Virat Kholi’s Hotel Manager on Monday for allegedly flouting Smoking Zone rules at his Pub & Restaurant One8 Commune. 

The popular hangout spot is now under scrutiny by the Cubbon Park Police for violating public health regulations.

A suo-motu case was registered against the establishment for not having a dedicated smoking area, thus violating provisions of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act or COTPA. 

Worth mentioning,The COTPA law requires businesses like pubs and restaurants to provide a separate space for smokers what the One8 Commune Pub & Restaurant failed to abide by.
