PM Modi receives warm welcome at rally in Odisha, thanks people for their support

Bhubaneswar, Sept 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted with an enthusiastic reception as he arrived at the dais during a rally in Odisha. The crowd cheered and clapped as he began his address, saying, “Jai Jagannath, Jai Maa Samalei, and Jai Maa Ramachandi,” which immediately sparked cheers and chants of “Modi! Modi! Modi!” from the crowd.

Expressing his gratitude, the Prime Minister thanked the people for their continued support and appreciation. He also acknowledged the youth and locals for the beautiful works of art and memorabilia presented to him during the event. He assured them that his Special Protection Group (SPG) would collect each piece of art individually.

PM Modi urged those presenting him with portraits and artworks to write their names and addresses on the back. He promised that he would personally write to each one of them as a gesture of appreciation. At one point, the PM asked his security personnel to collect a portrait from a child in the crowd, further connecting with the people.

In a moment of cultural connection, the Prime Minister spoke in Odia, greeting the gathering with "ଏଠାରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ମାନ୍ୟଗଣ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ଜୁହାର" (aethi upasthita samata manya ganya vyakti manaku mora juhar), which translates to, "My salutations to all the respected and esteemed people here."

PM Modi expressed his blessings for being in the sacred land of Maa Samalei and Maa Ramachandi during the Navratri festival, noting the significance of the occasion. He also took a moment to thank the women of Odisha for attending the rally in large numbers, highlighting their active participation.

The Prime Minister praised the people of Odisha for their support of the “double-engine government” and for voting in favor of the BJP, believing in the vision of a “Vikasit Odisha” (Developed Odisha). Additionally, he praised Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, calling him a "popular and hardworking" leader.

The rally was a show of solidarity and a reaffirmation of the people’s trust in the BJP's governance.
