Bhubaneswar, June 4: A 57-year-old passenger traveling on the Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat Express died on Wednesday after falling ill during the journey, officials confirmed.

The passenger, identified as H. Bhowmik, became unwell around 12:30 PM while the train was en route to Puri. Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar railway station, he was immediately transported to a private hospital by ambulance.

Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel from Bhubaneswar escorted him during the transfer to the hospital. However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
