Delhi, May 12: The Operation Sindoor has never ended but it has been postponed for the ceasefire agreement, said PM Modi on Monday.

While addressing the nation on the Operation Sindoor and the ongoing ceasefire agreement carried out between India and Pakistan, Modi said that Pakistan is a state of terrorism. It’s wreaking violence across borders, sponsoring terrorist outfits and facilitating infrastructure for gloabally-defamed terrorists.

Condemning the barbaric massacre at Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir, committed by the Pakistan sponsored terrorists on April 22, Modi said, the Operation Sindoor is not merely a strike against terrorism but it’s an emotional appeal of 1.4 crore Indians, as a ‘tit for tat’ to the terrorists who killed as many as 26 innocent men infront of their wives and children.

In his first address to the nation after India-Pak ceasefire, Modi said that the Operation Sindoor against Pakistan has only been kept in abeyance and the future will depend on their behaviour.

The Prime Minister said India is keeping a close watch on Pakistan and its actions. However, the Indian Armed Forces have been given free hands to take up actions and retaliatory measures on their own, if the situation further escalates with any sort of provocation by Pakistan.
