Puri, Ap 16: Teenaa Rath from Puri has made headlines by securing a perfect 500 out of 500 in the CBSE Class 10 examination, the results of which were declared on Wednesday. She has been recognized as both the national and state topper.

Teenaa, the daughter of IT professionals Sameer Kumar Rath and Renu Prabha Dash, dreams of becoming a heart surgeon and plans to pursue medical education in the future. She completed her schooling at Mother’s Public School.

This year, the overall pass percentage for CBSE Class 10 stood at 93.66%. A total of 24,83,479 students registered for the examination, with 24,71,777 appearing and 23,16,008 declared successful.

Among the top performers, 55,368 students-around 2.24%-secured 95% and above marks, while 2,21,574 students, approximately 8.96%, scored 90% and above. Altogether, nearly 2.75 lakh students achieved high scores, reflecting a strong academic performance across the country.
