Bhubaneswar, July 29: In a major operation, Odisha Vigilance today launched simultaneous raids at 10 different locations linked to Raja Kishore Jena, Assistant Engineer (AE), Roads & Buildings Division-III, Bhubaneswar, in connection with allegations of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) to his known sources of income.
Acting on search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, the raids are being carried out by a high-level Vigilance team comprising 7 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), 5 Inspectors, 1 Sub-Inspector, 11 Assistant Sub-Inspectors, and other supporting personnel.
The searches are currently underway at the following locations in Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh:
- A three-storey building located at Plot No. 226, Sector-5, Niladrivihar, Bhubaneswar
- Flat No. E-083, 8th Floor, Cosmopolis, Bhubaneswar
- Shop No. 16, Symphony Mall, Pahala, Bhubaneswar
- Paternal residence at Jagannathprasad, Nayagarh
- Office chamber of Sri Jena at the office of Executive Engineer, R&B Division-III, Bhubaneswar
- Residence of his in-law at Patia, Bhubaneswar
- Another in-law's residence at Sabaji Nagar, Nayagarh
- Flat No. H-164, 16th Floor, Tower H, Cosmopolis, Bhubaneswar
- Plot No. 549/3177/3368, Dumduma, Bhubaneswar
- Office premises of M/s ASN Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., located at 617, Barabari, Jagamara, Bhubaneswar
The investigation is part of an ongoing crackdown on corruption and asset accumulation beyond known sources of income. Searches are still in progress and further updates are awaited.
