Bhubaneswar: Odisha Athletics Association in collaboration with Odisha Government will host the 40th National Junior Athletics Championship here at Kalinga Stadium from 10-14 October 2025.

The last edition was the 39th National Junior Athletics Championship held at the Kalinga Stadium here from 7-11 December 2024.

Team Haryana emerged as the overall champion with 303 points, while Tamil Nadu emerged as the runners-up with 269 points. Odisha won 11 medals including 6 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals in the tournament
