​​​​​​​Malkangiri, Oct 5: In a tragic incident, at least three persons were killed in a freak road mishap on National Highway-326 at Katameta in Odisha’s Malkangiri.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, the accident took place when two motorcycles crashed into a stationary truck on the national highway. The collision led to the deaths of three people, and left one individual in critical condition.

He was swiftly transported to Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment.

Upon getting the information, police arrived at the scene and seized the bodies. Subsequently, they were sent for post-mortem.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
