Bhubaneswar, March 20: In a significant development to improving teaching learning environments across the state,the Odisha government on Friday regularised over 13,000 contractual (Schematic) Junior teachers.
With the new tag, the schematic Junior Teachers will be treated as government teachers and they will avail allied facilities.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi approved the proposal today.
According to the decision, the Junior teachers, appointed during the 2023–24 period, are announced as regular teachers from their joining dates.
As per the policy decision, the junior teachers will receive Notional Benefits till December 31, 2025, from their date of appointment. However, they will start receiving full salary and all other benefits equivalent to regular government employees from January 1, 2026.
