Bhubaneswar, March 6: The results for the Class X High School Certificate (HSC) examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), will be released in the first week of May. This announcement was made by BSE President Srikant Tarai after the completion of the exams today.
In a media briefing, Tarai also stated that the evaluation of answer sheets would begin on March 19.
This year, a total of 5,12,437 students appeared for the matriculation exams, which were held at 3,133 centers across Odisha.
The BSE had taken extensive measures to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the exams. To curb cheating, the board implemented a four-tier squad system and set up CCTV cameras at all exam centres. Additionally, live streaming facilities were arranged at around 600 centres to monitor exam activities in real time.
To further safeguard against malpractice, QR codes were embedded on each question paper page, and serial numbers were added next to each question to prevent any question paper leaks.
