Odisha specialty brand Kruti Coffee opens premier London cafe

Odisha-based specialty roaster Kruti Coffee expanded its footprint onto the global stage on August 20, 2026, opening its first international outlet in London. Originating in 2013 to restore an abandoned plantation across the high-altitude tribal belt of Koraput, the enterprise has grown into a notable farm-to-cup operation championing sustainable cultivation, equitable grower partnerships, and artisanal processing.

Bringing Koraput Harvests to Global Tables

Every batch of coffee served at the new international site is processed and roasted at the Select by Kruti Coffee facility in Bhubaneswar, adhering to quality benchmarks set by the global Specialty Coffee Association. Featured prominently on the London menu is the brand's celebrated Kindiriguda Naturals, which earned the Best Arabica Naturals title at the Fine Cup Award during the 5th World Coffee Conference. Alongside this acclaimed lot, the café serves single-origin Indian coffees, seasonal microlots, and manual brews alongside espresso drinks prepared with a 100 percent Arabica house blend.

Empowering Tribal Growers through International Growth

During the inaugural event, guests sampled manual pour-overs presented by Head Roaster and Barista Pabitra Sahoo. Co-founder Jeeta Mona noted that what started as a grassroots plantation revival in Koraput has evolved into a worldwide platform for Indian coffee quality. She emphasized that reaching London represents a proud milestone shared directly with the farming communities whose labor produces every harvest.
