Bhubaneswar, August 26: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to visit Ganjam district on August 27. During his visit, the Chief Minister will visit the Dhabaleswar shrine in the Gopalpur Assembly constituency, where he is expected to distribute land pattas to displaced people and address a public gathering.
Majhi is also likely to highlight the development initiatives undertaken in Ganjam over the past two years and announce several new projects planned for the district.
The district administration has made elaborate arrangements to ensure the visit is conducted safely and smoothly. On Tuesday, Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, Ganjam Collector V. Keerthi Vasan, Berhampur SP Dr Saravana Vivek M, Additional District Magistrate Sachidananda Nayak, Zilla Parishad Chief Development Officer Samir Jena, Berhampur Sub-Collector Abinash Kumar and other departmental officials inspected the Dhabaleswar temple premises and the Army Air Defence College in Gopalpur.
Officials reviewed security, logistical and other arrangements ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit.
