Bhubaneswar, July 14: The Odisha Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, approved 13 proposals pertaining to seven departments on Tuesday.
According to the state government, the Cabinet deliberated on and approved proposals from the Water Resources Department, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department, Cooperation Department, Agriculture and Farmers' Empowerment Department, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, and Rural Development Department.
Among the departments, the Rural Development Department accounted for the highest number of approvals, with seven proposals receiving the Cabinet's nod.
The remaining approvals included one proposal each from the Water Resources Department, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department, Cooperation Department, Agriculture and Farmers' Empowerment Department, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department, and the Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
The proposals were discussed in detail before being approved by the Cabinet. The decisions are expected to facilitate the implementation of key developmental initiatives across multiple sectors in Odisha.
