Paradip, Sept 14: Mystery shrouded over the death of a man after his body was found on a coal-laden goods train at Paradip Port in Odisha today.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, the train, which had departed from Talcher, was en route to a private company's facility within the port area when CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) personnel discovered the body.

Later, the authorities seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.

The circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation, with police considering multiple possibilities, including electrocution from overhead wires or foul play.

Authorities are also looking into the potential involvement of coal theft gangs, who are known to target such consignments during transit.
