Bhubaneswar, May 15: The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) has registered an impressive pass percentage of 73.5% in the CBSE Class XII Board Examination, results of which were declared on Wednesday, showing improvement over the previous year’s result of 72%.

In the Science stream, a total of 4,721 students from OAVs appeared for the examination. OAVS recorded an impressive pass percentage of 73.5%, showing improvement over the previous year’s result of 72%. Notably, 112 students secured above 90% marks in the Science stream.

Priyadarshini Behera of OAV Dhobatota, Kandhamal emerged as the topper in the Science stream with an outstanding score of 97.6%. Other remarkable achievers in the Science stream are: Piyush Ranjan Swain-97.2%-OAV Frezorpur, Bargarh, Shaktivandan Purohit – 97.2% – OAV Tetelenga, Boudh, Lavyansh Meher – 96.6% – OAV Bedi, Nuapada.

In Commerce stream, as many as 423 students from 31 OAVs appeared for the CBSE Class XII Board Examination. The pass percentage rose significantly to 88.9%, compared to 77.6% in the previous year. A total of 14 students secured above 90% marks in the Commerce stream.

Disha Saha of OAV Sanmouda, Mayurbhanj secured 96.8% and emerged as the highest scorer in the Commerce stream.Other notable performers in the Commerce stream include: Anchal Agarwal – 96.2% – OAV Sanmouda, Mayurbhanj, Biswajeeta Prusty – 95% – OAV Jamdhar, Jajpur, Ankita Behera – 95% – OAV Jamdhar, Jajpur, Ritik Khurana – 95% – OAV Ranibhol, Mayurbhanj.
