Sambalpur, Ap 8: In a tragic incident, a man lost his life while trying to escape a swarm of honey bees.

The deceased has been identified as Basudev Kisan, a resident of Gulujipali village.

According to reports, Kisan was gathering mahua flowers when he was suddenly attacked by the bees. In a desperate attempt to save himself, he ran towards a nearby pond and submerged his head in the water.

Witnesses, including Kisan’s wife and two others nearby, pulled him out of the water and rushed him to her Hospital, where he was declared dead.
