Bhubaneswar, August 24:Makeover of Pathani Samanta Planatarium in Bhubaneswar soon, said Science & Technology Minister, Odisha Krushna Chandra Patra on Saturday.
In a bid to develop sciene attitude and scientific studies of physical science, more science centers and planatarium across the state will be developed, Patra said.
According to him, the Pathani Samanta Planetarium in Bhubaneswar, is one of the few places in the country that conduct shows in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Science and programmes to generate awareness among people and student community on physical concept of stars, planets and galaxies that make up the universe. It provides an understanding of the physical nature of various celestial bodies and their positions in the space.
Major science-related projects will be implemented across all districts to improve science studies among students and scholars, Patra added.
Apart from the state capital, planetarium projects are currently underway in every district of the state. At many places, the projects have already reached their final stage.They will be very soon opened for all after formal inauguration, the minister added.
