MAI applauds Aamir Khan for theatrical release of 'Sitaare Zameen Par'

Mumbai, June 19: The Multiplex Association of India (MAI) has praised Aamir Khan’s decision to release his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par exclusively in theatres on June 20, 2025.
Calling it a "significant moment" for Indian cinemas, MAI commended Khan for reaffirming his belief in the big-screen experience amid a fragmented media landscape.
MAI President Kamal Gianchandani and Cinepolis India CEO Devang Sampat both hailed Khan’s commitment to theatrical storytelling, describing it as a bold show of confidence in the magic of cinema and a boost for exhibitors nationwide.
