Jharsuguda, Sept 27: A lookalike of Modi in Jharsuguda put crowd on crossword during PM’s Odisha visit on Saturday.
A man from the Bamropi village under the Udupi district in the Karnataka, identified as Sadananda Naik, appeared amid the sea of crowd gathered around the stage where PM Modi was about to address the youths at his ‘Yava Samavesh’. Naik who is almost similar in look, hight, complexion and physique, was a point of attraction at the site while most of the people were jumbled, as if Modi is really interacting with general public, standing amidst them.
Apart from the remarkable similes with PM Naraendra Modi, the peculiar figure was cutely donned with similar apparels that modi typically puts on as an ethnic wear, in his area & tradition specific programs. Naik as such, was on his saffron cladding with same colour headwrap and BJP-affiliated fiery-white scarf hung from his shoulder.
As the facial expression, body language and gesture, all were alike the carbon copy of Modiji, people thronged towards him chanting Modi-Modi, and some heard echoing Modi he to Mumkin he…. Youths were also seen queuing up and begging for autographs and waiting for a panaromic selfie.However, the jumble vanished away minutes after the real Modi, stepped into the podium among his officials, BJP top leaderships and security crews.
Answering the presser, the dummy Modi said, “I had never aware of before that I am a figurine of PM Modi. A few moths ago I had been to Haridwar where I grew up my beard for a few days while visiting the Khestra with saffron pyjamas,where onlookers were stunned to notice that my figure has much resemblance with Modi’s. They also warned me not to trim the beard any more, as it makes a better lookalike of the PM.
“I realized the people’s remark, bears little base, while I observed myself standing before a mirror and found Modi in me. Later on, I groomed myself a little accordingly, following Modi’s fascinating gesture & poster, especially his cute dresscode and dress sense, that he very often decides before noteworthy occasions”, the Modi-man added.
Expressing Modi’s impression on his Modi-mania attitude Naik said, I have met Modi face to face in many PM programs.Everywhere, Modi recognizes with a short-smile, waving his hands in a humorous look.
On being asked, if PM Modi specially makes any sense for him, the Modi-man said that he personally likes Modi, for his statesmanship, ideologically for his selfless service towards the nation and the people as well.
“I have met Modi’s brothers, both elder and younger twice and interacted with them intimately. Have dreams to meet Modi somewhere, somedays ahead if I get a suitable chance preferably during his future visit, worth significance”, the man physically resembling PM Modi added.
