Senior Advocate Pradeep Rai appeared on behalf of the journalist during the crucial hearing. The current police complaint alleges that he exited his Bolero vehicle during a traffic dispute and physically assaulted a scooter rider. His legal counsel emphatically denied these events, noting that investigators have also allegedly pressured nearby shopkeepers to delete critical CCTV footage. Once authorities supply the demanded documents, he holds the complete liberty to seek formal quashing of these criminal charges before the Allahabad High Court.
