Kurnool bus tragedy: Odia techie charred in flames

​​​​​​​Bhubaneswar, Oct 25: While a shock wave yet spreads over the Kurnool bus tragedy, a pall of gloom descended in an Odisha village, as an Odia techie was found dead among the victims.

The deceased has been identified as Kengua Deepak Kumar, a resident of Ambadola village under Muniguda block in the Rayagada district.

As per reports, Deepak, reportedly a cyber techie had been staying with his sister in Hyderabad and was travelling to Bengaluru in the fateful night on the 23rd. Meanwhile, he was charred to death as the bus caught fire following a burst, among the 20 victims.

After conducting a DNA test, authorities confirmed Deepak’s death with verifying his identity today.

According to the district admin sources, Deepak’s body has been packed up for his native place in order to hand over to his family.

On being aware of the mishap, Deepak’s family broke with profound grief while the locals have urged the Odisha government to extend financial assistance to the bereaved family.

Notably, over 20 people died after a Bengaluru-bound private bus was engulfed in flames following a collision with a motorcycle near Chinna Tekuru village in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district on Friday.
