Bhubaneswar, February 21: With the suspicious death of a Nepali Girl at the KIIT, representatives of Nepal community, residing in Odisha, knocked the Police Commissionerate office on Friday.

The Nepalese delegates demanded justict for the victim Prakriti Lamsal, who committed suicide for alleged harassment by her boyfriend.

They also urged the Commissioner of Police to ensure safety & security to the Nepal students who are pursuing their higher studies in Odisha. 

The team also submitted a memorandum in this connection, demanding stern action against the offenders who are responsible for the girl’s death and the illegal expulsion of the Nepali students from the KIIT premises.
