Bhubaneswar, Sept 16: Tension gripped Mahul village under Angarapada panchayat in Khordha after two bombs were allegedly hurled during a clash between two brothers, leaving one dead and the other seriously injured.

According to preliminary information, the brothers allegedly got into a dispute and threw bombs at each other. One brother died in the blast, while the injured brother was initially rushed to Capital Hospital and later shifted to Cuttack after his condition reportedly deteriorated.

Following the incident, Chandaka police and a PCR team reached the spot. Subsequently, Zone-6 ACP, a scientific team and Bhubaneswar DCP visited the crime scene.

The scientific team collected samples from the spot as police launched an investigation into the circumstances leading to the bombing and the exact sequence of events.
