Bhubaneswar: Khordha District Chess Association (KDCA) is organizing the Khordha District Sub-Junior ( U 15) Boys and Girls Chess Championship to be held at International Chess Hall, KIIT University, here on 28-29 May.
The championship is exclusively for Khordha District Players. For the first time in Odisha history a District is conducting district age group championship for selection of State age group championship. Top 4 merit winners of each section will qualify to Odisha State Sub-Junior U 15 Boys and Girls Championship-2025.
The top six finishers of each group will receive a total Rs 10,000. Total of twenty-four trophies and thirty-six chess books will be distributed among winners from (U 5 to U 13 Boys and Girls age group winners).
The championship to be organized by Khordha District Chess Association under the aegis of All Odisha Chess Association. The entry fees for player is Rs. 400/ for championship. Interested players have to transfer entry fees to the bank account of Khordha District Chess Association. Last day is 27th May.
