Bengaluru, March 11: In response to the recent tragic incidents, including the murder of a tourist from Odisha and the assault of an Israeli tourist and a homestay owner in the Koppal district on March 6, the Karnataka government has introduced new safety guidelines for homestays, resorts, and hotels.
The updated directive focuses on enforcing stricter security protocols to guarantee the safety of guests.
Acknowledging the "very sad and regrettable" Sanapur incident, the government emphasized that these new guidelines must be adhered to rigorously in order to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
