Bhubaneswar, July 24: Allegations of job fraud and involvement in immoral activities have surfaced at an Ayurvedic massage parlour in the Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar. A young woman has alleged that she was lured with a promise of employment and later forced into prostitution at the centre.

According to sources, the woman was called to the Ayurvedic centre on the pretext of being offered a job. However, after reaching the location, she was allegedly pressured to engage in illegal activities against her will. Following the incident, the victim approached the Chandrasekharpur police station and lodged a complaint.

Acting on the complaint, a special police team from Chandrasekharpur police station carried out a raid at the centre. During the operation, police detained a customer and seized several objectionable items from the premises.

The centre owner has also been taken into custody for questioning. Police are investigating the allegations and examining the seized materials to gather further evidence. Further details are awaited as the probe continues.
