Junagarh, Nov 18: The Janjatiya Gaurav Rail Corridor is set to transform transportation in some of India’s most backward regions, beginning at Junagarh Road and extending through key areas such as Nabarangpur, Jeypore, Malkanagiri, Bhadrachalam, and Pandurangapuram. This major infrastructure project is designed to serve the aspirational districts of Odisha and nearby states, aiming to stimulate socio-economic growth in these underserved communities.
Recently, a tender has been issued to facilitate the Compensation Award Land Acquisition (CALA) process, marking a significant step toward initiating construction along this critical corridor. The Janjatiya Gaurav Rail Corridor is expected to enhance connectivity, boost trade, and improve accessibility in regions that have long struggled with inadequate transport links.
This initiative not only aims to empower local communities through improved rail infrastructure but also highlights the government’s commitment to honoring and preserving tribal heritage. By fostering inclusive development, the project aligns with the goals of the Aspirational Districts Programme, which seeks to uplift marginalized areas through targeted development initiatives.
Overall, the Janjatiya Gaurav Rail Corridor represents a forward-thinking approach to regional development, promising to bring transformative change to the lives of people in these historically neglected areas.
