INWEC 2.0 Day 3: NAREDCO MAHI hosts Women’s Business Conclave to promote leadership in Real Estate

Bhubaneswar, May 3: NAREDCO MAHI organized a special conclave celebrating women’s leadership and empowerment in the real estate sector at the Exhibition Hall, IDCO Exhibition Ground, Unit 3, Bhubaneswar.

The event aimed to highlight the contributions of women entrepreneurs in real estate and discuss the challenges and opportunities they face.

The conclave saw the presence of several distinguished guests, including Smt. Surama Padhy, Hon’ble Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, attended as the Chief Guest. Other notable attendees included Smt. Sophia Firdous, Hon’ble MLA from Barabati-Cuttack, Smt. Nitisha Man (IAS), Deputy Director, MSME, Odisha, Dr. Ananta S. Raghuvanshi, President of NAREDCO MAHI, Smt. Smita Patil, Chairperson of NAREDCO MAHI, and Smt. Ratmala Swain, Vice Chairperson of NAREDCO MAHI.

The discussions focused on the role of women in the real estate business, emphasizing leadership, policy support, regulatory challenges, and necessary reforms. 

The speakers addressed how policy barriers and structural issues can be reformed to make the sector more inclusive and accessible to women entrepreneurs.

In an inspiring address, MLA Sophia Firdous delivered a powerful message, stating, “A woman can be the greatest source of inspiration for another woman’s progress.” Her speech was met with enthusiastic applause and set the tone for the day’s discussions.

The conclave also highlighted the need for more women in key decision-making roles in the industry and underscored the importance of creating an environment where women can thrive as entrepreneurs and leaders in real estate.
