Bhubaneswar, May 1: On occasion of International Labour Day, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik extended warmest greetings and best wishes to the working class.
CM Majhi extended warmest greetings to working people and said they make invaluable contributions to nation-building.
Taking to his official ‘X’ handle, he wrote “I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes on International Labour Day to my working brothers and sisters who make invaluable contributions to nation-building. Let us honour their sacrifices and contributions to building a developed nation and pledge to ensure their social security.”
Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo also extended best wishes and wrote, “Many greetings and best wishes to all the working brothers and sisters of the state on the occasion of International Labour Day.”
Deputy CM Pravati Parida extended greetings to all working people and said that they are the foundation of development and their contribution in nation-building is unparalleled.
Similarly, Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik extended warm wishes and wrote, “Workers are the backbone of the country's strength and development. Their sacrifice and hard work are priceless. Many strong steps have been taken by the Biju Janata Dal government for the welfare of our laboring brothers and sisters. Let us strengthen this trend and ensure the progress and welfare of the workers.”
