New Delhi, May 9: Amid the rising tension betteen India and Pakistan, a key meeting was held at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official residence on Friday.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) were present in the meeting. The tension comes after terrorists killed atleast 26 people in Jammu-Kashmir's Pahalgam.
Earlier, PM Modi had met with a group of armed forces veterans on Friday. He had an extensive interaction with them on various issues on the current situation. This included former Air Force Chiefs, Army Chiefs, Navy Chiefs and other veterans who have extensively served the country.
Sources said, the PM reviewed the counter- attack resorted by the Indian Armed Forces against the Pakistan’s massive shelling.
