Bhubaneswar, Ap 1: The Odisha government has announced the commencement of new registration for the Subhadra Yojana, effective today, with the application window open until April 30.
As per the latest guidelines, only women who have not previously applied for the scheme are eligible to register during this phase. Applications submitted in previous rounds will not be considered.
The new eligibility criteria specify that applicants must be women aged between 21 and 60 years as of April 1, 2026. Only those meeting these age requirements and applying for the first time will be eligible for assistance under the scheme.
Beneficiaries who meet the criteria will receive an annual financial aid of ₹10,000, distributed in two instalments. This benefit will continue throughout the duration of the scheme, starting with the 2026–27 financial year.
Applications can be submitted online via the Subhadra Portal, as well as through Common Service Centres (CSC) and Ama Seva Kendras. To simplify the registration process, forms will also be available at Anganwadi Centres and CDPO offices, free of charge.
Officials stated that the initiative aims to ensure broader coverage, allowing eligible women to access the benefits of the Subhadra Scheme during this registration period.
