NTA will announce Re-NEET UG result 2026 by July 20

Medical aspirants across India can expect their Re-NEET UG result 2026 by July 20, ensuring that the upcoming academic session begins without any delay. National Testing Agency officials confirmed that evaluation teams are working rapidly to release the scores after reviewing thousands of candidate objections. This second entrance test took place on June 21 following the scrapping of the initial May 3 examination, which affected over 20 lakh students nationwide due to question paper compromise allegations.

Scheduled Timelines for Medical Admissions

Officials stated that while standard evaluation takes up to 45 days, this fast-tracked process will deliver outcomes much quicker than usual. Administrative teams are currently verifying approximately 10,000 answer key challenges submitted by candidates before finalizing the merit list. Each challenge required a processing fee of 200 rupees, which remains refundable if the objection proves valid. For Odisha students targeting premium seats in regional institutions like SCB Medical College or AIIMS Bhubaneswar, this swift declaration offers vital clarity before state-quota selection rounds commence.

Counselling Infrastructure and College Registrations

Medical Counselling Committee representatives will handle the 15% All India Quota allocations across central universities, while individual state boards manage the remaining 85% local institutional seats. Some regional authorities have already initiated preparatory processes to prevent any session lag. Past trends indicate that registration processes usually commence within a week of score declarations, meaning admission rounds should start smoothly by late July. Aspiring doctors must register online, pay processing fees, and lock their college choices before final seat allocation based on merit ranks.
