New Delhi, January 29: Five schools in Delhi received bomb threats via email on Thursday morning, sparking a swift response from security agencies. Following extensive searches, the threats were confirmed to be a hoax.

The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) reported receiving the initial call around 8:30 a.m., prompting immediate investigations and thorough checks by multiple security teams. The affected schools included Loreto Convent in Delhi Cantonment, Don Bosco in Chittaranjan Park, and Carmel Convent in Anand Niketan and Dwarka.

After exhaustive inspections, authorities declared the threats to be false and cleared the premises of any danger.
