Jagatsinghpur, Jan 19: Bus services in Odisha's Jagatsinghpur district have resumed after a five-day disruption, bringing much-needed relief to commuters. The stoppage was initially caused by the LAccMI Bus Owners’ Association, which halted services over unresolved issues.

According to sources, earlier talks between the association and the district collector had failed to resolve the matter. However, successful discussions with the commissioner led to a breakthrough, allowing services to return to normal.

As of now, buses operating on the Jagatsinghpur-Cuttack route are running as usual, restoring normalcy to the district’s transportation network. The resumption of services is expected to ease the commute for daily travelers in the region.
