BJP's defeat in Bankipur bypoll result of Bihar CM's negative politics: Tejashwi Yadav

Patna, August 4: RJD leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, on Tuesday attributed the BJP's defeat in the Bankipur Assembly bypoll to what he described as the "negative politics" of Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.

Speaking to reporters in Patna, Yadav alleged that the BJP has suffered electoral setbacks since Choudhary assumed office as chief minister, citing the party's losses in both the MLC election and the Bankipur bypoll.

He also accused the chief minister of failing to effectively govern the state, claiming that Bihar's law and order situation has deteriorated significantly.

"Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has completely failed to run the government. Law and order has collapsed, and the BJP's defeat in the Bankipur Assembly bypoll reflects the public's rejection of his negative politics," Yadav said.
