Puri, Aug 15: On the eve of Independence Day, renowned sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik unveiled a captivating series of science-themed sand sculptures on Puri Beach, celebrating India's remarkable achievements and military strength.
One of the most striking pieces featured a detailed portrayal of "Operation Sindoor," one of India's most successful military missions. Through his intricate sand art, Pattnaik brought to life the powerful image of Rafale fighter jets striking enemy bases. The artwork was symbolized by a vivid red bindi placed over a map of India, representing the country’s strategic power and the skill of its armed forces.
Speaking about his latest creation, Pattnaik shared the inspiration behind his work: “On this Independence Day, I wanted to showcase India’s strength, innovation, and patriotism through my art. ‘Operation Sindoor’ stands as a symbol of our nation’s strategic brilliance and courage, and I hope this sculpture inspires pride among every Indian.”
