Bhubaneswar, October 12: East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Shri Parmeshwar Funkwal felicitated three railway employees for their exceptional alertness, presence of mind and dedication to duty in identifying potential safety concerns during July and August 2026. Their timely reporting and prompt communication enabled railway authorities to take preventive measures, reinforcing the crucial role of vigilance in ensuring safe and smooth train operations.

The employees honoured for their exemplary vigilance are:

• Sarada Prasad Sahoo, Track Maintainer-IV, Badabandha, under SSE/P.Way/Gorakhnath, Khurda Road Division.
• Trinath Selma, Track Maintainer-IV, Kantabanji, Sambalpur Division.
• Subham Sa, Track Maintainer-IV, under SSE/P.Way/Mahasamund, Sambalpur Division.
