Puri, June 16: Ranarnav Deb, the younger brother of Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb, passed away late Sunday night while undergoing treatment at a private hospital. He was 67.

Sources confirmed that Deb had been admitted to the hospital following a prolonged illness. Despite medical efforts, he breathed his last during the late hours of Sunday.

As per the traditions of the royal family of Puri, his final rites will be conducted with due ceremonial honors.
