Konark, Ap 16: As part of the 61st Femina Miss India event, state winners embraced serenity through yoga near the iconic Konark Sun Temple, a site where history and spirituality converge.

Built in the 13th century as a colossal chariot dedicated to the Sun God, the temple stands as a timeless symbol of art, energy, and devotion. Amid the gentle sea breeze and the rising sun, the contestants experienced a moment of stillness, strength, and harmony.

As part of a special program promoting Odisha’s art, culture, and heritage, the Femina Miss India contestants visited both the Konark Sun Temple and Chandrabhaga beach. They practiced yoga on the temple grounds and along the coastline, enjoying the serene sunrise while capturing the natural beauty around them.

After their time at Chandrabhaga, the group explored the intricately designed Konark Sun Temple, gaining insight into its architectural brilliance and rich cultural history. The event highlighted the intersection of wellness, heritage, and the state’s vibrant traditions.

The Odisha Tourism Department extended a warm welcome to the contestants, celebrating their engagement with the region’s cultural and spiritual landmarks.
